LEXINGTON - Kentucky basketball stretched its winning streak to four games with a 69-58 victory over UAB.
With just two games scheduled for the next two weeks, coach John Calipari finally has extended practice time to address the inconsistency that has troubled this team throughout the first month of the season. The too-frequent lulls in performance returned Friday when UAB was able to cut the Kentucky lead from 20 to 11 points in the final four minutes, but a strong performance from the UK veterans was enough for the win.
