The Kentucky Wildcats have announced the addition of Zan Payne to the 2018-19 roster.
Payne, a standout from Lexington Catholic High School, is the son of associate head coach Kenny Payne. Zan will join UK as a walk-on for next season after averaging 19.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game in his senior season.
”I am very excited to a part of the Big Blue Nation,” Payne said in a press release. “Over the last eight years, I’ve seen the best of the best players and teams in college basketball come through Lexington, and to be a part of the tradition is a dream come true.
