That will be a question likely lingering right up until the deadline to withdraw from the draft on May 30th. For now, Washington is taking part in the NBA Combine in Chicago.
There, Washington had a mixed bag of results on Day 1.
On one hand, he tested very poorly compared to the numbers he put up at UK’s pro day before his freshman season.
On another hand, he went for 14 points (6-of-10 shooting), 13 rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist in the team scrimmage portion.
After the scrimmage, Washington spoke with reporters about what it will take for him to stay in the draft.
