LEXINGTON, Ky. – As Tyler Herro stepped to the free-throw line with 17 seconds on the clock against Florida on Saturday, the Gators' hopes of a comeback were on life support.
Kentucky led by nine, and when Herro managed to keep the ball in his hands long enough to be fouled, everyone on the court probably knew what the outcome was going to be.
Make, make, ball game.
“I feel like it’s going to go in every time when I shoot a free throw,” Herro said earlier this season, after pausing to knock on the wooden interview podium.
