LEXINGTON – We know when the 2020-21 college basketball season will start. That doesn’t mean all the questions about what the season will look like have been answered.
“First of all, we are thrilled to have a starting point for the upcoming season and look forward to preparing for the 2020-21 year,” a University of Kentucky spokesman said in a statement provided to The Courier Journal. “With a starting date in place, we will re-evaluate our schedule, including games scheduled prior to Nov. 25. We have a number of factors to work through, including balancing the number of games we can play both in and out of conference, but we look forward to working with the SEC and with our opponents to establish a revised schedule that will both prepare and challenge our team while adhering to safety protocols.
