The Kentucky Wildcats’ matchup with Monmouth this year has become the Inaugural Citi Hoops Classic at Madison Square Garden.
The two teams will play on Dec. 9, 2017 in New York City. This will be the first in a series of games for the Citi Hoops Classic, happening on a yearly basis going forward.
“This is a great opportunity to play a strong and up and coming team in a historic venue,” said John Calipari, according to a press release from G3 and Citi. “We love coming to New York and look forward to seeing the Big Blue Nation in full force out east.
