Kentucky Baseball got another big win Friday night, as they clinched the home series against Tennessee with a 3-1 victory. The Cats used eight hits and 3 Tennessee errors to help push them closer to the top of the SEC. The win now makes Kentucky 21-16 and 7-9 in SEC play.
Dustin Beggs was the Kentucky starter tonight, looking for his fifth win of the season. Beggs was dealing all night, throwing seven strikeouts through six innings. Beggs has looked strong in all of his appearances for the Cats this season.
Beggs would carry a shutout into the eighth inning where retired three batters and handed the ball over to Zach Logue to finish of the Volunteers.
