Kentucky Baseball starting pitcher Cole Stupp out for season

Just before its rubber match against No. 14 Georgia on Sunday afternoon, Kentucky Baseball announced that Friday night starting pitcher Cole Stupp would miss the remainder of the 2022 season due to injury.

The junior out of Milton, GA left his start on Friday night against the Bulldogs in the sixth inning due to a forearm injury. He had made six starts this season, earning a 2-2 record while throwing 25.2 innings, finishing with a 6.31 ERA.

In his six starts this season, Stupp allowed three or more runs on five occasions.
