The Kentucky Baseball team saw two players selected during the first two days of the 2015 MLB Draft. Right-handed pitcher Kyle Cody was selected by the Minnesota Twins with the 73rd overall pick on Monday night. Teammate Ka’ai Tom was selected by the Cleveland Indians during the 5th round on Tuesday.

The Chippewa Falls, Wis. resident was the 40th overall prospect according to MLBPipeline.com. The 6’7″ pitcher posted a 4-4 win-loss record and 4.91 ERA this season. Over twelve starts and two relief appearances during his junior year, Cody struck out 63 batters and allowed 17 walks in 66 innings pitched.
