Kentucky Baseball head coach, Nick Mingione has become somewhat of a hero so far this season. He’s taken a team that had the same player’s as last year, and turned them into a top team in the nation. As a result of those efforts, Kentucky is in a position to potentially host the super regional, if they win the regional tournament.
AD Mitch Barnhart is preparing for the Cats to win that regional and gain home-field advantage. According to CatsIllustrated.com, Barnhart is concerned about seating, due to Cliff Hagan Stadium’s 3,000 seat capacity. Additionally, the stadium is surrounded by student dorms and the Nutter Fieldhouse, as well as the track & field facility.
