We’re fully into football season, but there’s some baseball news to report on.
On Wednesday afternoon, Kentucky baseball announced its Southeastern Conference schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. Coming off the program’s second-ever NCAA Regional championship in school history, the Bat ‘Cats will face another challenging run of intraconference opponents. Luckily, that slate does not include defending national champion LSU.
However, the schedule is daunting. Kentucky will play 10, three-game series with no repeat opponents. Among UK’s foes for the spring of 2024 include Florida (away), Tennessee (home), Alabama (home), South Carolina (away), Arkansas (home), and Vanderbilt (home) — all teams that finished among D1Baseball’s Top 25 to close the 2023 season.
