Duke head coach Jon Scheyer has stolen Jai Lucas away from John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats.
247Sports’ Travis Branham broke the news this afternoon that Lucas will be leaving Lexington to join Duke’s coaching staff, a major blow to Kentucky’s recruiting efforts.
Lucas served as the primary recruiter for Cason Wallace, Shaedon Sharpe, Daimion Collins and Sahvir Wheeler in two seasons at Kentucky.
Widely seen as one of the youngest, brightest basketball minds in the game, he will now be taking his coaching talents to Durham.
