After the Governor’s Cup game between the Kentucky Wildcats and the Louisville Cardinals was put on hold for the 2020 season due to coronavirus, which was originally supposed to have the Cards hosting UK, the series has been changed and modified.
Kentucky would host every odd year (2017, 2019, etc) and Louisville would host every even year (2016, 2018, etc.) but now, the two teams have flipped. Kentucky will now host the even years and Louisville the odd.
