Yahtzee!! The Kentucky football running back room received a boost ahead of the upcoming 2022 season.
On Tuesday afternoon, Sam Houston State transfer Ramon Jefferson announced through social media that he will take his talents to Lexington. The 5-foot-10, 215-pound Bronx, NY native was named an FCS Second-Team All-American in 2021 by the Associated Press, rushing for over 1,100 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Jefferson’s career started at Maine in 2017 when former Kentucky offensive coordinator Liam Coen was the OC for the Black Bears. A redshirt prospect in his first season of college football, Jefferson crossed the 1,000-yard threshold following Coen’s departure in 2018.
