The Kentucky football team is one step closer to landing a four-star cornerback. This afternoon Jay Ward released his four finalists and the Cats made the cut.
If Kentucky can secure a signature on National Signing Day, it would be Ward’s second commitment to the Cats. The Moultrie, Georgia native originally committed to UK over the summer, but backed off his pledge after LSU entered the picture. Kentucky never lost communication. Vince Marrow traveled to Georgia on Tuesday for an in-home visit with Ward.
I saved the best news for last: Kentucky will get Ward’s final official visit next weekend, just days before National Signing Day.
