It was Kentucky vs. Boston and Kentucky started out red hot scoring 6 points in the first minute. Skal had a quick jump hook, then Briscoe stole the ball before Boston could get it past half court and laid it in lastly Ulis made a basket and Kentucky quickly showed their dominance. Kentucky stretched their lead to 10-0 before Boston fired back and went on a 7-0 run of their own. Kentucky would lead 10-7 with 15 minutes left in the first half.
Boston continued their hot streak and stuck with Kentucky drew within 12-15. Then, Jamal Murray happened.
