Kentucky -78 , Albany -65

Isaiah Briscoe would not play tonight because of a sore knee. Charles Matthews would benefit from that and got the start. Early on Charles Matthews didn’t let Calipari down as he would get the games first points on a blow by dunk. Surprisingly, Derek Willis checked in real early and came in a made a fade away 2. Kentucky would lead 14-8 five minutes into the game.

Dominique Hawkins finally got to see the court this season when he checked in at the 12 minute mark. Even though Kentucky would lead, early it seemed like it was sloppy, but there were a lot of things that Kentucky was doing well that Calipari enjoyed.
