“He’s going to play out the season then consider his options, which include prep school or possibly walking on for the hometown Wildcats,” Moore said.
This weekend, SEC Country’s Joe Mussatto caught up with Zan at the Marshall County Hoopfest and talked to him about the idea of playing for his father at Kentucky.
Not only did he say his father wasn’t recruiting him to Kentucky, he said the UK assistant was pushing him to play elsewhere.
“He would rather me play D-I somewhere else, but if not I’d walk-on at Kentucky,” Payne said.
