Kelvin Sampson telling his players they have to be eight points better than Kentucky to win

It only takes one point to win a game, but Houston coach Kelvin Sampson is telling his guys they have to be eight points better than Kentucky to knock off the Cats tomorrow night. I’m not a math major, but huh? According to the Houston players, that eight-point gap represents the chip on the shoulder the Cougars must have to overcome Kentucky’s size and crowd advantage.

“We’ve just got to shut up and bite down and not complain to the refs, not look for anything,” senior Breaon Brady said.
