After a disappointing outing vs. Tennessee, Tyler Herro returned to road warrior form at Ole Miss. The freshman finished with 20 points off 8-12 from the floor, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
In the first half, Herro didn’t miss a shot, and with Ole Miss keeping it close in the final minute, he drained two clutch free throws, not a surprise given his sterling 93.4 percent season average. Here’s a crazy stat: Herro is a perfect 27-27 from the free-throw line in true road games, the first freshman to finish with a perfect percentage on the road in Division I since the 2010-2011 season, according to Corey Price:
