The Kentucky Wildcats struggled mightily Sunday in their 76-64 home loss to the Richmond Spiders.
It was obvious that the lack of experience for the 10 new Cats grouped with a ton of experience for Richmond was a recipe for an early loss.
The one thing Kentucky needs right now is the leadership of Keion Brooks Jr., who has been out with a leg injury and missed both games in the Bluegrass Showcase.
After the game, assistant coach Joel Justus spoke to the media and noted that the team will evaluate Brooks’ status over the next two days leading up to the matchup with the Kansas Jayhawks leaving his status unclear.
