Going into the summer, Keion Brooks was one of the higher priorities among Kentucky’s targets for the 2019 class. Now, that trail seems to have dusted away.
After the expeditious commitments of forwards Kahlil Whitney and Dontaie Allen, the focus for John Calipari has seemed to shift away from Brooks, who is now considered a heavy Indiana lean with Michigan State behind. This was recently reported by Ben Roberts of the Herald-Leader.
The 247 Sports crystal ball also has Indiana getting most of the picks and none for Kentucky. A recent Rivals roundtable also had four experts pick either Indiana or Michigan State with no picks for Kentucky.
