One of the top available defensive backs in the transfer portal will be taking his talents to Lexington. Keidron Smith announced today that he will transfer to the University of Kentucky. The former Ole Miss Rebel chose the Wildcats over Missouri, Virginia Tech and Indiana.
Prior to his announcement Smith was the fourth-ranked uncommitted player in the transfer portal, according to 247 Sports. A 6-foot-2, 215 pound athlete, the Super Senior did a little bit of everything for Ole Miss throughout his four-year career.
Originally a low three-star prospect from South Florida, Smith racked up 224 career tackles in Oxford, picked off five passes and forced five fumbles.
