Kentucky signed a lot of great players this morning, but the most impressive get may have been Cavon Butler, a defensive tackle out of Toledo, Ohio. Butler may have only been rated a three-star, but had offers from major programs like Ohio State, Michigan, and Michigan State. In an interview on KSR this morning, Vince Marrow said keeping Butler was a huge coup.
“[Ohio] being me and Mark’s home state and me, I went to the University of Toledo, played there, and there was a guy I played with at Toldeo, Craig Kuligowski, who is a Defensive Line Coach at Alabama, he had Cavon at the camp and Cavon was one of the better D-linemen and Nick Saban offered him right out of camp.
