Kentucky is still without a wide receivers coach after losing Chad Scott to North Carolina last week, but there’s a name we should keep a close eye on as a potential candidate.
He is Tommy Mangino, the son of former Kansas head coach Mark Mangino, and he’s an up-and-comer in the coaching game. He spent time as a graduate assistant under his father with the Jayhawks, before moving down to Hutchinson Community College, and then on to Iowa State, where he spent the last two seasons as the Cyclones’ receivers coach.
Now, Mangino is a free agent in the coaching game, and if his Twitter follows are any indication of his future, he’s poised to become a Kentucky Wildcat.
