Kentucky tight end Keaton Upshaw suffered an injury during a preseason workout that has him out indefinitely, most likely for the entire season. Reportedly a torn pectoral muscle, Mark Stoops did not get into the specifics when asked at SEC Media Days earlier this week, but did confirm the injury will keep Upshaw out for a significant amount of time.
“Traditionally speaking, that is a season-ending injury, but we’ll see and we need to confirm that,” Stoops told reporters down in Alabama. “I don’t have any more news other than that at this point. Saw him this morning.
