It seems like preseason injuries have become a common occurrence for the Kentucky Wildcats in recent years, and unfortunately, it continues again this preseason.
On Tuesday, Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio reported that tight end Keaton Upshaw has suffered an injury during preseason training and is out indefinitely.
Mark Stoops is expected to share more details on the injury and Upshaw’s timetable to return this afternoon at SEC Media Days.
With new offensive coordinator Liam Coen, many expected Upshaw would be due for a big season in 2021 since he is bringing an offensive style that uses multiple tight ends and gets them a lot of targets.
