The Kentucky Wildcats are 6-1, but their most recent win potentially came at a cost.
During the 14-7 win over Vanderbilt, junior linebacker Kash Daniel suffered a hand injury. After the game, head coach Mark Stoops spoke briefly about the injury and what’s next.
“We’ll take a look at it, do some x-rays, see what we got to do,” Stoops said.
Daniel later revealed that he actually fractured his hand:
Daniel added that he plans to play through the pain and not miss a play. While that’s admirable, the call is ultimately made by the coaches and team doctors.
