Before he battles for a State Championship appearance, he’s accepted a prestigious award. Each year The Paul Hornung Award is given to the country’s most versatile college football player. The Hornung Award is also given to the most versatile high school football player in the state of Kentucky.
It’s hard to imagine this award going to anybody else. He quarterbacks the state’s #8 scoring offense, playing the position like Tim Tebow, powering through tackles in the running game and dropping some deep ball dimes from time-to-time. He’s a menace on defense, ranked as the nation’s third best inside linebacker by 247 Sports.
