Kansas State’s leading scorer was on the court at Philips Arena today. During a 15-minute open session with the media, Dean Wade did not miss a beat during the Wildcats practice.
The agile 6’10” forward scores 16.5 points per game, but has missed the last three games with a stress fracture in his foot. Last weekend he dressed and warmed up, but was only available in case of emergency. After the second round win over UMBC, Wade told reporters he’s 98 percent sure he will play against UK. When he was on the court today, you could not tell he was hurt.
