Kansas State player, who cried about handshakes, arrested by U.S. Marshals

U.S. Marshals arrested Kansas State’s Amaad Wainright on Monday.

Kentucky fans may remember Wainright as Kansas State’s junior guard who complained about UK’s players not shaking hands after the Sweet 16 game in Atlanta. Wainright said they were being cocky because they’re off to the NBA.

Wainright’s postgame lies were not the reason he was arrested, though — he’s obviously in trouble for much worse than making up March Madness controversies. It’s still unclear what exactly has him in hot water, but it appears to be related to a road rage incident involving gunfire back in January.
