After celebrating a surprising Sweet 16 upset, the Kansas State Wildcats were still not happy with the Kentucky Wildcats.
“They didn’t shake our hands,” Kansas State junior guard Amaad Wainwright told ESPN. “It’s sorry. … They know what they did.”
Wainwright said he was disrespected by Kentucky for leaving the floor before K-State could shake their hands. John Calipari explained why the team left the floor.
“Well, I went down to shake their hands, too, and they were turned and celebrating so that I walked off. I had no disrespect for anything, just that they were celebrating and I was happy for them.
