Last week, John Calipari and the Kentucky basketball program announced two new signees for the 2019 recruiting class with Tyrese Maxey making it official on Wednesday and Dontaie Allen coming on Friday.
Noticeably absent from that group? Five-star forward commit Kahlil Whitney.
And it looks like it’ll stay that way until the Spring Signing Period rolls around.
Sources told Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com that Whitney will NOT sign with Kentucky in the fall due to a “logistical issue.” The report states the 6-foot-6 forward wants to sign at his old elementary school in Chicago, but the scheduling didn’t work before today’s deadline.
