There’s been a slight change of plans for one of UK’s highest-ranked recruits.
On Early Signing Day Jeremy Flax was initially listed as one of Kentucky’s 12 early enrollees. Once National Signing Day rolled around, Flax’s name was removed from the list of early enrollees.
A four-star talent originally from Michigan, a late push by the Wildcats and a timely visit by UK’s coaching staff secured Flax’s commitment. Picking Kentucky over Auburn, the versatile offensive lineman was projected to compete for immediate playing time at guard or as a reserve offensive tackle, in part thanks to his JUCO status.
