JUCO cornerback signee Zah Frazier will not be a Kentucky Wildcat after all. After signing with the program on December 15, the top-10 junior college prospect is now backing away from his pledge, announcing Wednesday he will be reopening his recruitment.
“I will not be enrolling at Kentucky,” the standout defensive back announced. “I will be attending another university.”
Frazier was rated as the No. 3 overall JUCO prospect by Rivals, No. 10 by 247Sports and No. 15 by ESPN, a consensus top-five player at his position.
“Zah Frazier, big-time length, 6’3″ corner, junior college player,” Mark Stoops said of Frazier on signing day.
