The Kentucky defensive end was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in August. After multiple surgeries, treatment and rehabilitation, Paschal returned to practice in the middle of the season. He’s able to play in the final three games of the season and still retain a redshirt.
To beat cancer and return to the football field in three months is an amazing accomplishment. Even if Paschal does not play, his presence on the sideline will give the team an emotional lift on Senior Day.
