Oh, you thought Josh Allen award season was over? Today, Allen was named the winner of the Jack Lambert Award, given annually to the top linebacker in college football by the Touchdown Club of Columbus, Ohio.
Allen is the first Kentucky player to win the award, which is named after Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer Jack Lambert. Past recipients include current NFL stars Khalil Mack, Luke Kuechly and Von Miller. He will be presented with the honor on February 9 at the annual Touchdown Club of Columbus awards banquet.
Last week, Allen was named Kentucky’s first consensus All-American since 2002.
