Kentucky’s star outside linebacker and soon to be first-round NFL draft pick, Josh Allen, has been named a finalist for yet another award.
Allen has been named a Ted Hendricks Award finalist which is an honor that goes to college’s top defensive end.
The 17th annual award is given to the defensive end based on on-field performance, leadership ability, and contributions to school and community. Current NFL players Jadeveon Clowney, Brian Orakpo and Terrell Suggs are among award winners.
Allen, who became UK’s all-time sack leader this season and broke the school’s single-season sack record with 14 in 2018, has a chance to claim yet another honor.
