The first person to wisely move Allen to the top of the mock draft boards was Chris Trapasso from CBS Sports. Following a trip to the Senior Bowl, this morning the NFL Network’s Lance Zierlein moved Allen into the No. 1 spot.
At this point, Allen’s rise has more to do with Arizona’s scheme change than Allen’s postseason workouts. Once teams get to compare Allen with Nick Bosa and other elite edges at the NFL Combine in March, drafting Josh Allen will be an easy decision for the Arizona Cardinals.
