Another day, another honor for Josh Allen. Today, Kentucky’s star pass rusher was named one of four finalists for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, presented annually to the defensive player in college football that best represents the qualities embodied by Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott – Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
The other finalists are Washington linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven, Duke linebacker Ben Humphreys and Clemson defensive lineman Christian Wilkins. The winner will be announced Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach, California. The university of the winner will receive $25,000 for the school’s general scholarship fund with each of the other three finalists getting $5,000 for their school.
