Watkins hails from Louisville (KY) and plays for Butler Traditional High School. He commits to UK while holding offers from the Louisville Cardinals, Rutgers Scarlet Knights and Central Michigan Chippewas among others.
The 6-0, 180-pound Watkins is ranked 721st overall by 247 Sports Composite, which measures all of the recruiting rankings in addition to being the ninth-ranked recruit from Kentucky.
