Jordan Jones and Jon Toth named Second Team All-SEC

The Southeastern Conference announced its All-SEC teams today. Only two Kentucky Wildcats appeared on the list, but both are well deserving. Jordan Jones and Jon Toth had outstanding seasons and were both rewarded with the honor of being named Second Team All-SEC.

Jordan Jones is a sophomore linebacker from Youngstown, OH, and he quickly emerged as the leader of Kentucky’s drastically improved defense this season. He recorded 100 tackles this season (70 solo), which was the second most of any defender in the conference.

Jones also has 14 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, and a forced fumble even though he has struggled with injury late in the season.
