The fastest high school sprinter in America spurned his home state school to become a Kentucky Wildcat. Jordan Anthony, a three-star wide receiver from Tylertown, Ms., announced his commitment to Kentucky Thursday afternoon, choosing UK over Lane Kiffin’s high octane Ole Miss offense.
Anthony is the second wide receiver from Mississippi to choose between the Wildcats and the Rebels over the last two weeks. His cousin, Jeremiah Dillon, picked Ole Miss. The family ties did not deter Jon Sumrall from securing the Cats’ 12th commitment in the class of 2022.
A 5-foot-11, 160-pound three-star prospect, Rivals and 247 Sports rank Anthony as a fringe top 500 prospect.
