Junior is named of the nation’s top 50 centers to watch for the 2015 season

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky football center Jon Toth (pronounced TOETH, long “o” sound) has been named to the 2015 Rimington Trophy Spring Watch List, the Rimington Trophy Committee announced on Tuesday.

Toth, a native of Indianapolis and one of four returning starters on the offensive line, will enter his junior campaign with 23 consecutive starts under his belt. Last season he started in all 12 games and was named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week in the season-opening win over Miami (Ohio) as he helped the Cats roll up 59 points and 656 yards; the 656 yards is the fourth-highest single-game mark in school history.
