Head coach Jon Sumrall reportedly informed his administration that he plans to stay at Tulane.
Sumrall’s name had been mentioned with a number of open jobs recently, including North Carolina and West Virginia.
Over the weekend, Sumrall commented on reports of him possibly leaving Tulane:
#Tulane’s Jon Sumrall was asked if he’s interviewed with North Carolina.
“Nothing’s getting to me right now. Could that change? I mean.. I don’t know. If some newspaper tripled your salary, you might go.”
Added that he’s “very happy” at Tulane.
