Former Kentucky men’s basketball player Jon Hood was recently named assistant coach at Missouri Western State University.
MWSU is an NCAA Division II school located in Saint Joseph, Misssouri.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Missouri Western men’s basketball head coach Will Martin announced Wednesday the hiring of Jon Hood as an assistant coach.
Hood comes to MWSU after one year as an assistant coach at Kentucky Wesleyan and he was also a player at the University of Kentucky.
“Jon has a wealth of knowledge and experience in our game that is going to allow us to take the next steps forward in establishing a championship standard within Missouri Western Basketball,” said Coach Martin.
