The former Kentucky running back will return to the football field as a coach. This fall Kemp will coach running backs for Wes Johnson at Dunbar High School. JoJo will join another Wildcat on the staff, former UK wide receiver Alex Montgomery.
In four years at Kentucky, the Deland, Florida product rushed for 19 touchdowns and 1,709 yards (5.05 yards per carry), good enough to crack the Top 15 of Kentucky’s all-time rushing list. The statistical mark he left on the program is incomparable to the moment he created after the Cats upset Steve Spurrier’s South Carolina Gamecocks in 2014.
