Kentucky men’s basketball got back its starting point guard, but the status of the team’s best player is still up in the air.
The Wildcats came away with a 77-52 win over Duquesne on Friday night as lead guard Sahvir Wheeler returned to the lineup. He sat out the first regular season game with a minor knee injury that he suffered in the opening exhibition win over Missouri Western State a couple of weeks ago, but stepped back on the court against the Dukes. Wheeler finished with a spectacular stat line of 11 points, 11 assists, six rebounds, and just two turnovers in 27 minutes off the bench.
