COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Romeo Langford said he felt more comfortable during the second day of Team USA U19 training camp Monday.
The result?
"He's just special," coach John Calipari said after the second practice of the day. "This kid is a special – never says anything. I'm just trying to get him to smile, like, and he'll do that every now and then."
Langford, the No. 3 overall player in the 2018 class from New Albany, had the ball during scrimmages more often Monday, initiating the offense and making reads off screens to either shoot or pass.
