The Kentucky Wildcats traveled down to Knoxville and picked up a season-shifting win, defeating the fifth-ranked Tennessee Volunteers 63-56.
The Cats were without Sahvir Wheeler and Daimion Collins but still pulled off the victory this program and fanbase desperately needed. It’s also Kentucky’s first Quad I win and a much-needed resume booster for the NCAA Tournament.
After the game, John Calipari stated that “Antonio was the most impactful player” when talking about Antonio Reeves, who led the way for Kentucky with 18 points. The Cats also received 15 points and 13 rebounds from Oscar Tshiebwe.
